A 187-horsepower SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine lies underneath the hoods of the bottom three trim levels. This is the most efficient engine option for the Mazda CX-5 as it contributes to a fuel economy of 30 highway mpg and 24 city mpg.
