Mazda is all about innovation. Its 2020 lineup will feature an all-new model, the 2020 Mazda CX-30. Since its debut, it has drawn numerous comparisons to the Mazda CX-5. These crossovers are similarly styled, but what are their differences?
That is what we are here to find out. Unlike our other model comparison pages, we won’t be taking a side here. We just want to provide objective information about each of these crossover SUVs. Check out our table below to see how the specs of the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda CX-30 compare.

As you can see, the Mazda CX-30 is ever so smaller than the Mazda CX-5. But that doesn’t mean it’s too compact. The Mazda CX-30 comes with a tweaked design but it is still larger than the subcompact Mazda CX-3 and it offers plenty of interior space for drivers and passengers. As for which crossover wins, that totally depends on your preference. Both models come with great features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, adaptive front lighting, radar cruise control, and more, but the Mazda CX-30 comes standard with high-end materials like Nappa leather trim and wood inlays. If you don’t mind sacrificing a bit of interior space in the name of luxury, the Mazda CX-30 might be for you.
