All of the trim levels of the 2020 Mazda CX-5 can come in an all-wheel-drive version, while only the Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring trim levels offer a front-wheel-drive version. The benefits of choosing a front-wheel drive vehicle include a generally improved fuel economy. For the 2020 Mazda CX-5, this is the difference of a few mpg. The front-wheel drive vehicles are rated at 31 mpg on the highway, while the all-wheel-drive vehicles vary by trim level, but the Grand Touring Reserve and Signature are both rated at 27 mpg on the highway. However, all-wheel drive is generally preferred for the increased traction it can add.
Power wise, the Grand Touring Reserve and Signature stand apart again with 2.5 Dynamic Pressure Turbo engines that create up to 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque. The rest of the trim levels have a 2.5 L engine with ratings of 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. Come view the 2020 Mazda CX-5 here at Tuttle-Click Mazda in Irvine, CA.
