Performance wise, the two lowest trims are at odds with the three highest trims. The Sport and Touring trim levels have a 2.5 L DOHC 16-valve, 4-cylinder engine with VVT and Cylinder Deactivation. They each have power ratings of 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque along with fuel economy ratings of 26 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
The three highest trim levels, the Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature, all feature a 2.5 T Dynamic Pressure Turbo DOHC 16-valve, 4-cylinder engine with VVT. They are rated at 250 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque with fuel economy ratings of 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Thus, they are the more powerful trim levels, but they give up some fuel efficiency in place of the additional power. Of course, the higher trim levels will also have more luxurious interior materials and more technology capabilities to make their higher price tags worth it.
