Similar to 2020, the 2021 Mazda CX-5 offers two engine options for customers.  The standard SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter engine offers up to 187 horsepower and provides fuel economy estimates of up to 28 Combined MPG.  Also available is the 2.5-liter turbocharged engine – now found in many of the 2021 Mazda models. It provides up to 250 horsepower and 320 ft-lbs of torque with Premium Unleaded Fuel. The option also comes standard with the i-ACTIV® AWD option with Off-Road Traction Assist function. The same feature can be available with the standard engine as well.
